Each powered wheelchair can cost as much as £7,000 and will be custom made for each youngster according to their needs, even the colour can be at their request.
CHIPS is funded almost exclusively by the UK Gaming industry and over the years has raised a staggering amount in excess of £2,000,000.
CHIPS will never offer a powered wheelchair to a youngster unless the funds are "in the bank" and each application has been thoroughly researched.
CHIPS is registered as a charity in it's own right (charity number: 1173001). Every penny raised goes to provide the powered wheelchairs that enable the recipients to have the mobility, independence and dignity which is the right of every child.
